Our Story

In Hebrew, mazal speaks to good fortune and wishing others well. At Mazal Home Care, that meaning guides everything we do, not just in words, but in how we show up for the people we care for and their families.

Mazal Home Care was born from personal experiences that shaped how we view care, dignity, and support during life’s most vulnerable moments.

For Rebecca, the founder of Mazal Home Care, it began with her grandfather. After suffering a stroke, he required daily assistance and close attention. While the care he received met basic needs, it often felt rushed and impersonal. There was a missing sense of connection, patience, and understanding. Being there for him showed Rebecca how deeply quality care can impact not just recovery, but emotional well-being and a person’s sense of independence.

For Elad, the co-founder of Mazal Home Care, caregiving became personal as both of his parents faced cancer. Navigating treatments, fatigue, and the day-to-day realities of illness highlighted how overwhelming care can be for families. He saw firsthand how much it matters to have dependable, compassionate support that treats people as individuals, not tasks on a schedule.

Together, these experiences made one thing clear. Care should feel human. It should be consistent, thoughtful, and rooted in genuine responsibility for the person receiving it.

That belief is why we started Mazal Home Care.

We are a small, family-owned care team by choice. No call centers. No layers of management. Just real people who know our clients, answer the phone, and take personal responsibility for the care we provide.
